Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule: Following the relocation of the Women’s 2024 T20 World Cup from Bangladesh to the UAE, the ICC has released the final schedule for the tournament, which will kick off on October 3 and conclude with the finals on October 20. Despite the change in venue due to the political situation in Bangladesh, the country will continue to be recognized as the official host.
The Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 groups remain unchanged, with Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka in Group A, while South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Scotland are in Group B.
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule
Sharjah is set to host the eagerly awaited clash between India and Australia on October 13, marking India’s only match outside Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Each team will compete in four group matches, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals. While there are no reserve days for group stage matches, reserve days have been scheduled for both the semi-finals and the final.
Before the main event kicks off, 10 warm-up matches will take place from September 28 to October 1. The tournament will officially start with Bangladesh facing Scotland at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
