In the 2018 IPL season, the Chennai Super Kings chased down a big target of 205 runs against the Kolkata Knight Riders. This was their third-highest run chase in IPL history. The match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium was thrilling. KKR’s Andre Russell smashed 88 runs off just 36 balls with an impressive strike rate of 244.44.

In the 2018 IPL match, CSK chased down 206 runs against RCB, marking their second-highest run chase in history. RCB set a big score with Quinton de Kock’s 53 and AB de Villiers’ 68 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

CSK, however, rose to the challenge. Faf du Plessis played an outstanding knock of 71 off 46 balls, while captain MS Dhoni smashed a quick 41 off 24 balls. The Dhoni-led CSK chased down the target and won the match by 5 wickets, setting a record that still stands today.
