South Africa World Cup Schedule 2023 – The ICC announced the schedule for the 2023 World Cup last week, with India hosting the event. India will host the ICC World Cup from 5 October to 19 November 2023. The final match is set to take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium on 19 November 2023. In the ICC World Cups of 1999 and 2015, the Proteas achieved their best campaign by reaching the semi-finals. However, they were defeated by Australia and New Zealand respectively. Among the top 8 teams, the Proteas are one of the three that have never made it to a World Cup final.

The Proteas’ squad is currently going through a transition phase after the retirements of key players like AB De Villiers, Faf du Plessis, and Hashim Amla.
