TATA IPL 2025 Format
The TATA IPL format for 2025 features a total of 70 round-robin matches, with each team playing 14 games—7 at home and 7 away. If a match ends in a tie or is abandoned due to rain, both teams will receive one point each.
After the round-robin stage, the top four teams on the IPL standings will advance to the playoffs. The playoffs include two qualifiers and an eliminator, leading up to the final. The first qualifier pits the top two teams against each other, with the winner securing a direct spot in the final.
The losing team from the first qualifier gets another chance by facing the winner of the eliminator in the second qualifier. The victor of this match will also advance to the final.
The IPL final is the ultimate showdown between the two remaining teams, where the winner is crowned the IPL champion.
