- Teams negotiate the terms of the trade, including the players involved, any additional considerations (such as cash considerations or future draft picks), and other relevant details. Once both teams agree on the terms, the trade is considered finalized.
- The other terms of the player contract like the period of the contract will remain the same.
- Though the teams decide the player’s trade, the IPL governing council needs to approve the proposed trade and ensure that it complies with the league’s rules and regulations.
- The council reviews the proposed trade and decides whether to approve or reject it based on various factors, including player availability, salary cap considerations, and fairness.
- If more than one franchise is interested in buying a particular player, then the selling franchise has the power to decide which offer to accept out of all those that have been made.
IPL 2024 Trade Players List
The IPL 2024 Auction is an event where teams can bid for players to strengthen their squads. Before the auction, teams can also trade players among themselves during the IPL 2024 Trade window.
