BCCI Announces India’s Team Squad for ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023: In line with the World Cup 2023 schedule, India, a two-time winner, is set to have their opening match against Australia on October 8 in Chennai’s Chidambaram Stadium.
Similar to the previous edition, the 2023 tournament will follow a comparable structure, featuring each of the ten participating teams competing once in the group stage. This stage will encompass a total of 45 group matches. Following this, the top 4 teams on the ICC ODI World Cup points table will progress to the knockout stage, vying for spots in the first and second semifinals.
All teams are required to declare their squads for World Cup 2023 by September 28, as per ICC guidelines.
