All 10 teams that have secured a spot in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will compete in these warm-up matches, with each team slated to play two games.
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 Warm-Up Fixtures
The warm-up matches will consist of 20 overs per side and won’t carry official international T20 status, allowing teams to field all 15 players from their squads. Teams from the same group won’t face each other during these practice games.
For the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup, Group A includes defending champions Australia, along with India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Group B features England, South Africa, West Indies, Scotland, and Bangladesh.
The warm-up fixtures kick off on September 28, with Pakistan going up against Scotland and Sri Lanka playing against Bangladesh. On the following day, Australia will face their long-time rivals England, while India will take on the 2016 champions, West Indies.
