The ICC (International Cricket Council) has announced an all-female team of umpires and match referees for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. This is an exciting event where 10 umpires and 3 match referees will take charge of the matches. The tournament will take place in Bangladesh and the UAE, starting on October 3, 2024.
The 10 teams playing in this tournament have been split into two groups. Each team will face the other teams in their group in a round-robin format, which means every team plays once against every other team in their group. A total of 23 matches will be played over 18 days, with games happening in Dubai and Sharjah.
With less than 10 days left before the tournament begins, the ICC has released the full list of officials who will be overseeing the matches. These officials come from the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees and Umpires.
