BBL 2023-24 Schedule: The Big Bash League (BBL), Australia’s professional Twenty20 cricket competition, is scheduled to start on December 7 at The Gabba in Brisbane. The tournament will have eight teams and will feature a new schedule that was created by Australian cricket officials. Big Bash League 13, BBL 2023-24 Details
The top two teams in the BBL 2023-24 league stage will have two chances to reach the final. The top four teams will make it to the playoffs, instead of the top five as in previous years. The top two teams will play in the Qualifier 1 match, and the winner will go straight to the final. The loser of Qualifier 1 will get a second chance in Qualifier 2.
The third and fourth-ranked teams will play in the Eliminator match. The winner of the Eliminator will play the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2. Each team will play 10 home and away games in the league stage, which is a reduction of 4 games per team from previous years. There will also be fewer doubleheaders and no cricket on Christmas Day. The BBL 2023-24 season will start on December 7 and the final will be played on January 24.
